How many downlights do I need?
As a general guide, you need one downlight per 1.2 to 1.5 square metres of floor space, depending on ceiling height and the brightness of the fittings. We calculate exact requirements during our consultation based on your specific space.
What's the difference between warm white and cool white?
Colour temperature is measured in Kelvin (K). Warm white (2700-3000K) creates a cosy, relaxing atmosphere ideal for living areas and bedrooms. Cool white (4000-5000K) is brighter and more energising, suited to kitchens, bathrooms, and workspaces. We often recommend tuneable white fittings that let you adjust between both.
